Description
On natural nails for a long-lasting man/pedi, choose Ridge-Filler Base Gel or Onezy Gel as a base gel, but if you want an easy-to-remove man/pedi, the air-dry Peel-Off Base Coat is your best choice.
Gel polish 2.0 characteristics:
- Bright colors with a high pigment content provide good coverage on the first layer
- With a thicker than average composition, it does not drip from the brush or spill over when applied.
- Does not contain any solvents or toxic substances.
- Hardens under both UV and LED lamps.
NB! For higher pigment content newer color gel polishes, the hardening time of the colors must be determined (the exact hardening time depends on the wattage of the UV/LED light bulbs/diodes).
How to use Gel polish
Gel polish application:
- Carefully clean dirt and grease from the nail plate (Nail Prepare Solution)
- Apply the base gel (Ridge-Filler Base Gel / Onezy Gel) or Peel-Off Base Coat to the nail plate.
- Apply 1-2 layers of the colored gel polish.
- Harden under a UV lamp for approx. 2-3 min or under a LED lamp for approx. 30-60 sec.
- As a last layer, apply Performance Top Gel.
- Harden under a UV lamp for approx. 2-3 min or under a LED lamp for approx. 30-60 sec.
- Remove the sticky layer from the hardened top gel (Super Shiny Finish).
Gel polish removal:
1) If the Ridge-Filler Base Gel or Onezy Gel was used as the base gel:
- Roughen the base gel layer with a file
- Place an acetone wrap on the nail (using Acetone Tip Remover / Soak-Off Liquid or ready moistened Gel polish removal pads).
- Soak for 5-10 minutes.
- Remove the remaining gel polish from the nail with a wooden stick.
2) If the Peel-Off Base Coat was used as the base gel:
- Remove the gel polish from the nail with a wooden stick.
